Let us do a flashback moment to the events in the blessed month of Ramadan this. We hoped by studying and observing these events, we can get a lot of wisdom and valuable lessons for our daily lives. Two years after our beloved Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam emigrated to the medina, to coincide with this glorious month of Ramadan, there was a major event but often forgotten Muslims. The incident is the battle of Badr.
Known as a major event, since the battle of Badr is an early event in a large capacity weapon, conducted between defenders of Islam and enemies of Islam. Because of this great event, the day God called teradinya event by Yaum Al-Furqan (days differentiator) because at that time, God, the One who lowers the Islamic Shari'a, would distinguish between the Truth with falsehood. At that moment God took the degree of truth with a limited amount of power and strength degrading sleaze although the number of 3-fold. Allah sent down a great help to the Muslims and their win over the enemies of Islam.
It is unfortunate, many of the Muslims in our neglect of this historic event. In fact, by reading these events, we can recall the history of the Companions who desperately fighting for Islam, that with it, we can feel the beauty of this religion.
Before you continue writing, reminding us carry goal posts are not to invite you to hold a commemoration day of the Battle of Badr, so do not peel the paper side of history, because this can be obtained by reference to the history books. This paper only tries to invite the reader to contemplate ibrah and valuable lessons on the history behind the pieces of the battle of Badr.
Background to the Battle
Once upon a time there was news among the Muslims of Medina that Abu Sufyan and the caravan trade, want to go back to Mecca from Sham. The road trip is easy and the nearest to Sham to Mecca must pass through Medina. Valuable opportunity is exploited by the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam and his companions to seize their goods. Their property be lawful for the Muslims. Why is that? Is not the treasure and the blood of innocent unbelievers it is unlawful?
There are at least two reasons that cause people treasure Quraish was lawful for the Companions:
The pagans of Quraish infidels harbi status is, ie the disbelievers who openly fight against the Muslims, the Muslims expelled from their homeland in Mecca, and forbade Muslims to use their own property.
No peace treaty between the Muslims and Quraish infidels who fight the Muslims.
For this reason, they are entitled to withdraw the property which they have lived and seize property idolaters.
Furthermore, the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam departed with three hundred and thirteen companions of so many. Historians differ in determining the number of troops at the Battle of Badr Muslims. Some say 313, 317, and a few other opinions. Therefore, we should not exaggerate in dealing with this figure, so the figures serve as an idol or a sacred number, sort by LDII that makes the numbers 313 as sacred figures of their organizations with the assumption that it is the number of Badr forces.
Among the three hundred dozen troops, there were two horses and 70 camel riders who ride them alternately. 70 people among the Emigrants and the rest of the Ansar.
While on the other hand, the disbelievers of Quraysh when he heard the news that the caravan of Abu Sufyan asked for help, with a sudden they prepare for their strength of 1000 personnel, 600 armor, 100 horses and 700 camels, and with a full arsenal. Departing with great pride and show of strength under the leadership of Abu Jahl.
God Wills Other
The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, with his companions out of Medina in hopes of blocking caravan of Abu Sufyan. Seize their property as compensation to the inheritance of the muhajirin in Mecca. Nevertheless, they feel anxious that they might actually encounter troops of war. Therefore, the weapons that brought the Companions not as complete weapons during the war. However, God wills the other. God ordained the order of a small army of monotheism is met with troops shirk. God wanted to show the greatness of his religion, degrading shirk. Allah describes their story in His Word:
وإذ يعدكم الله إحدى الطائفتين أنها لكم وتودون أن غير ذات الشوكة تكون لكم ويريد الله أن يحق الحق بكلماته ويقطع دابر الكافرين
"And (remember) when Allah promised you that one of the two groups (you face) is for you, are you wanting that which has no weapons kekekuatan who you (you are facing, pent. Namely caravan), and God wants to justify the right with his verses and destroy the disbelievers. "(Surat Al Anfal: 7)
Thus the image of the pious. Hope the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam and his companions did not materialize. They wanted the treasure caravan, but they get the troops ready for war instead. This fact provides an important lesson in aqeedah issue that not all the desired pious person is always granted by God. Allah has power over all things, nothing is able to control the will of God. Keshalehan no matter how great a person, any high level of one's chaplain was not able to change what God wants.
Forces of Satan Arrogance
When Abu Sufyan managed to escape from the pursuing armies of the Muslims, he immediately sent a letter to the troops of Mecca on the news himself and asked that the troops return home Mecca. However, with the arrogant, gang kingpin kesyirikan forces are reluctant to accept this offer. He actually said,
"By Allah, we will not be back until we arrived at Badr. We will stay there three days, slaughtering a camel, binge eating, drinking The wine, listening to the people sang songs biduwanita Arabia to know us and always afraid of us ... "
Their arrogance is Allah described in His Word,
ولا تكونوا كالذين خرجوا من ديارهم بطرا ورئاء الناس ويصدون عن سبيل الله والله بما يعملون محيط
"And do not be like the people who came out from his village with a sense of pride and with the intention of riya 'to men and hinder (men) from Allah's way. And (science) Allah encompasses what they do ... "(Surat al-Anfal: 47)
They do not realize that what they are doing it under the setting of God, because it is covered by their arrogance. They do not realize that the power of God turn things around them. That picture of demon forces, very far from humility and tawakal to the Almighty.
No loyalty Tandingnya
When the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam feel confident that that will be encountered are the forces of war and not a caravan, he began to worry and worry about the determination and spirit companions. He realized that his troops would face far greater strength than the strength of his troops yanng lead. Therefore, do not be surprised if there is some Companions who feel heavy with the departure of the troops towards Badr. God in His Word describes their condition,
كما أخرجك ربك من بيتك بالحق وإن فريقا من المؤمنين لكارهون
"As the Lord told you to go from your house with the truth, when in fact most of the people who believe it's not like it." (Surat al-Anfal: 5)
Meanwhile, the commander of troops immigrants, such as Abu Bakr and Umar ibn Al-Khattab did not loosen, and better to move on. However, this has not been deemed sufficient by the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam. He still wants concrete proof of loyalty from the other Companions. Finally, to allay anxiety, he conferred with his companions, asking them to determine the attitude certainty are two options: (1) continue the war whatever the conditions, or (2) back to the medina.
Come Al Miqdad bin 'Amr and said, "O Messenger of Allah, go ahead according to what God has commanded you. We will be with you. By Allah, we will not say as the words of the Children of Israel to Moses: 'Go on you, O Moses and Wed-mu (God) fight you two, we'll sit here alone. [1] '"Then Al Miqdad continues:" But you are together Wed pegilah you (God), then fight you both, and we'll go to battle with you two. For the Essence of What sent you with truth, if you are going to take us to the bottom of the dark wells, we also are ready to fight with you until you can reach the place. "
Then the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam gave good comments on the words of Al Miqdad and pray for her kindness. Next, go Sa'ad bin Muadh radi 'anhu, the commander of the Ansar.
Sa'ad said, "We have faith in you. We have confirmed you. Suppose you were with us unobstructed ocean and then you plunge into the ocean, we'll jump with you .... "Sa'ad radi 'anhu also said," Perhaps you're concerned, lest the Ansar did not want to help you except in the township they (Medina). Surely I speak and give an answer on behalf of the people Ansar. Therefore, go as you wish .... "
Night at the corner of Touching the Soul ...
At night, the night of Friday 17 Ramadan 2 AH, the Prophet of Allah Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam prayed more established near the trees. While Allah revealed drowsiness to the Muslims as a balm for them to be able to rest. While the Pagans on the other hand in a state of anxiety. Reduce the fear of God to them. "... O God, if you wished (the disbelievers win), you will not be worshiped. O Allah, if this small force destroyed thee today, thou wilt not worshiped ... .. "
He sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam repeating this until the prayer shawl he tarjatuh because the length of prayer, and then came Abu Bakr As Siddiq radi' anhu, he put a scarf that had fallen, hugging him ... "Enough, enough, O Prophet of Allah ..."
About this story, immortalized in the Word of God,
إذ يوحي ربك إلى الملائكة أني معكم فثبتوا الذين آمنوا سألقي في قلوب الذين كفروا الرعب فاضربوا فوق الأعناق واضربوا منهم كل بنان (12) ذلك بأنهم شاقوا الله ورسوله ومن يشاقق الله ورسوله فإن الله شديد العقاب (13)
"Remember) when your Lord revealed to the angels:" Lo I am with you, then be confirmed (establishment of) those who believe ". I will cast terror into the hearts of the unbelievers, then cut their heads and pancunglah every fingertip of them. (Provisions) which actually is because they opposed Allah and His Messenger, and whoever opposes Allah and His Messenger, then surely Allah is severe in punishment. "(Surat al-Anfal: 12-13)
Evidence of miracles He sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam
After his companions set up rows of soldiers, then he sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam to walk in the battle of two armies. Then he berisyarat, "This is where the killing of so and so, it places the death of so and so, there where the killing of so and so ...."
None of the unbelievers who he called his name, but died right where he hinted at sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam.
Burning embers Wars Begin
Who first sparked the war was Al Aswad Al Makhzumi, a coarse and depraved who behave badly. He was out of line while challenging unbelievers. His arrival was greeted by Hamzah bin Abdul Muthallib radi 'anhu. After facing each other, Hamzah radi 'anhu immediately snatch up his sword Al-Aswad Al Makhzumi foot drop. After that, Al Aswad crawled into the pond and drowned in it. Then Hamza menyabetkan once again when he was in the pool. This is the first victims of Badr which sparked the war.
Furthermore, three horsemen of the Mushrikeen reliable. All three came from one family. Syaibah bin Rabi'a, Utbah bin Rabi'a, and his son Al-Walid bin Utbah. Arrival they met three young men of Ansar, namely Auf bin Harith, Harith bin Mu'awwidz, and Abdullah bin Rawahah. Then the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam ordered Ali, Hamza, and Ubaidah ibn Harith to go forward. Ubaidah dealing with Al-Walid, Ali faced with Syaibah, and Hamzah faced with Utbah. For Ali and Hamza, facing his enemy no difficulty. As with the Ubaydah. Each attack each other, until each one injured. Then the opponent Ubaidah killed by Ali radi 'anhu. Top peritiwa this, immortalized in the Word of God,
هذان خصمان اختصموا في ربهم
"These two classes (class of believers and unbelievers groups) that fight, they fight each other about their Lord (Allah) ..." (Surat al-Hajj: 19)
Next, visit the two armies. The battle ensued between defense-Tawheed and Shirk defenders. They fight because of differences in religious principle, not because of world conquest. Meanwhile, the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam was in his tent, gave the command to the troops. And Sa'ad bin Abu Bakr radi Muadh 'anhuma charge of guarding him. It never broke up, the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam constantly chanting prayers and pleading for help and the help of Allah. Sometimes he was out of the tent and said, "Forces (Quraysh) will be defeated and bent backwards ..."
He also always give motivation to their companions to fight. He said, "By Allah, no one to fight them on this day, then he was killed with patience and hope for reward, and go forward and never retreat, surely God will put it into heaven."
Suddenly there stood Himam Umair bin Al Al Ansari, carrying a few dates to eat, he asked, "O Allah, what is paradise as wide as the width of heaven and earth?" The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam replied, "Yes." Then Umair said: " Bakh Bakh ... ... (shocked expression). Messenger of Allah, between myself and I get to heaven is when they kill me. By Allah, if I live to eat first dates, indeed this is the age that is too long. Then he threw kurmanya, and plunge into battle until killed. "
In another occasion, the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam took a handful of sand and threw it into the enemy ranks. So that no one except his heathen filled with sand. They were busy with their own eyes, as a sign of Her miracles by the will of the One Ruler of the universe.
The strong influence of Friends Close In Life
The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam forbade to kill Abul Bakhtari. Because when in Mecca, he often protects the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam and who have the initiative to abort the boycott on the Bani Hashim. Once bin Ziyad Al Mujadzar met him in the midst of battle. When, that Abul Bakhtari and colleagues. Thus, Al Mujadzar said, "O Abul Bakhtari, the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam forbade us to kill you."
"Then what about my friend here?", Said Abul Bakhtari
"By Allah, we will not let your friend." Answered Al Mujadzar.
Eventually they both launch an attack, so be forced to kill Abul Al Mujadzar Bakhtari.
Victory For The Muslims
Long story short, idolaters troops defeated and forced back. Forces of the Muslims managed to kill and capture some of them. There were seventy people were killed and seventy infidels are taken captive. Among the 70 who were killed there are 24 leaders of the Quraysh who had been dragged Mushrikeen and inserted into the holes in Badr. Included among the 24 people it was Abu Jahl, Syaibah bin Rabi'a, Utbah bin Rabi'a and his son, Al-Walid bin Utbah.
Thus the Battle of Badr, a small army able to defeat the larger force with the permission of Allah. Allah says,
كم من فئة قليلة غلبت فئة كثيرة بإذن الله والله مع الصابرين
"... How many classes a few can beat a lot of classes with the permission of Allah. And Allah is with those who steadfastly persevere. "(Surat al-Baqara: 249)
They ...
They won not by force of arms
They won not because of the strength of its personnel
They win because of war in order to enforce the sentence of God, and defend their religion ...
Allahu Al Musta'an ...
