oral control

The tongue is a member of the body really needs to be maintained and controlled. Indeed the tongue is a translator and whistleblower hearts hearts content. Therefore, after the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam ordered istiqamah, he bequeath to maintain oral. And straight tongue is related to the straightness heart and one's faith. In the Musnad of Imam Ahmad from Anas ibn Malik, the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, he said,

لا يستقيم إيمان عبد حتى يستقيم قلبه ولا يستقيم قلبه حتى يستقيم لسانه ولا يدخل رجل الجنة لا يأمن جاره بوائقه

Faith will not be committed and a servant, so that his heart istiqamah. And the heart of a servant will not be committed and, thus spoken istiqamah. Neighbors and people who are not safe from his crimes, will not enter heaven. (Reported by Ahmad, no. 12 636, dihasankan by Shaikh Salim al-Hilali in Bahjatun Nazhirin, 3 / 13).
And in Tirmidhi (no. 2407) from Abu Sa'eed al-Khudri, the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,
إذا أصبح ابن آدم فإن الأعضاء كلها تكفر اللسان فتقول اتق الله فينا فإنما نحن بك فإن استقمت استقمنا وإن اعوججت اعوججنا
If a child enters the morning Adam actually says modestly all his limbs to the target, "Takwalah to God in keeping our rights, we really depends on you. If you istiqaomah, then we are also committed and, if you deviate (from the way the instructions), we also diverge. (Tirmidhi, no. 2407; dihasankan by Shaikh Salim al-Hilali in Bahjatun Nazhirin, 3 / 17, no. 1521) (Jami'ul 'Uluum wal Hikam, 1/511-512)
Therefore, a believer keep his tongue properly. Do you guarantee for those who keep his tongue well? Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,
من يضمن لي ما بين لحييه وما بين رجليه أضمن له الجنة
Who guarantees me what is in between the two jaws and what is in between the two legs, I would guarantee paradise for him. (Bukhari, no. 6474; Tirmidhi, no. 2408; lafazh for Bukhari).
He also explained that keeping the tongue is safety.
عن عقبة بن عامر قال قلت يا رسول الله ما النجاة قال أملك عليك لسانك وليسعك بيتك وابك على خطيئتك
From 'Uqbah ibn' Aamir, he said, "I asked, O Allah's Apostle, whether because of safety?" He replied, "Take charge of your tongue, let your house wide for you, and weep for your mistakes". (H. R. Tirmidhi, no.2406)
Ie thou shalt not speak except with the matter that brings goodness, betahlah lived in the house by doing obedience-obedience, and let you regret your mistake by crying. (See Sharh Sunan Tirmidhi Ahwadzi Tuhfatul).
Rahimahullah Imam An-Nawawi (d. 676 H) said, "You know, appropriately for each mukallaf (people who have sense and baligh) keep the tongue from all the words, except words which clearly mashlahat him. When speaking or leaving it at his mashlahat, then according to the Sunnah was the refrain from it. Because words can be dragged to the permissible words are haram or makruh. In fact, this much or dominant in the habit. While safety is unparalleled. It has been narrated to us in the two Saheeh Al-Bukhari (no. 6475) and Muslim (no. 47), from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, he said,
من كان يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر فليقل خيرا أو ليصمت
"Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him say good or keep quiet."
I said: this hadeeth is agreed shahihnya nash clear that the appropriate person does not speak, unless it is a good word, namely its apparent mashlahat. If he is in doubt about the onset mashlahat, then he did not speak.
And Imam Ash-Shafi'i has said, 'If someone wants to talk, then before he berbiacra should think, if it is clear mashlahat he spoke, and when she hesitated, then he did not speak up clearly mashlahat it.' "[Al-Adzkaar, 2/713-714, works of Imam An-Nawawi, tahqiiq and takhriij Sheikh Salim Al-Hilaali, publisher Dar Ibni Hazm, cet. 2, th. 1425 H / 2004 AD].
In addition, the tongue is a tool that reveals the content of the liver. If you want to know the contents of someone's heart, then look at the movement of his tongue, the contents of his conversation, it will notify the contents of his heart, whether the person is unwilling or reluctant.
It is reported that Yahya ibn Mu'adh said, "The heart is like a boiling pot with its contents, while the tongue is gayungnya. So, consider a person when talking, for surely it'll get you his tongue what is in his heart, sweet, bitter, tasteless, salty, and others. Taking his tongue will explain to you a sense of his heart. "[Hilyat Au'iyaa ', 10/63, quoted from the Book Dhauil Aafaatul Lisaan FII was Sunnah, pp., 159, by Dr.. Sa'id ibn 'Ali ibn al-Qahthani Wahf]
The words of the Salaf About Hifzhul Oral
Indeed, the Salaf used to maintain and advance his tongue menghisab well. And narrated the words of their great and talks relating to the tongue. We convey here partly so that we can benefit from it.
It was narrated that 'Umar ibn al-Khattab said, "He who talks much, much is slipping. And whoever slipped many, many sins. And whoever many sins, hell is more proper for him. "[History of Al-Musnad Qudhai in ash-Shihab, no. 374; Ibn Hibban in Raudhatul 'Uqala', p.. 44. Quoted from Jami'ul 'Ulum wal Hikam, chapters 1, pp.. 339, the work of Imam Ibn Rajab, with research Syu'aib and Ibrahim Al-Arnauth Bajis; publisher Ar-Risala; cet: 5; th: 1414 H / 1994 AD]
It was narrated that Ibn Mas'ud never swear by Allah, then said, "In the face of this earth, nothing is more deserving than the tongue length of prison!" [History of Ibn Hibban in Raudhatul 'Uqala', p.. 48. Quoted from Jami'ul 'Ulum wal Hikam, chapters 1, pp.. 340]
It was narrated that Ibn Mas'ud said, "Stay away from fudhuulul kalam (speech which exceeds purposes). Enough for a man of speech, according to his needs. "[Jami'ul 'Ulum wal Hikam, juz. 1, p.. 339]
Syaqiq said, "'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud had Shofa talbiyah on the hill, then said,' O tongue, say good of you shall have good luck, congratulations you shall be quiet, before engaku sorry. 'People ask,' O Abu 'Abdurrahman, this is a word that you say yourself, or you hear?' He replied, 'No, even I've heard the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam said,
أكثر خطايا إبن آدم في لسانه
'The majority of errors son Adam is on his tongue.' "(Narrated by Thabarani, Ibn 'Asakir, and others. See Ash-Saheehah pedigree, no. 534).
It was narrated that Ibn Buraidah said, "I saw Ibn 'Abbas held his tongue, saying' Woe to you, say good, you get lucky. Be still, of ugliness, you shall survive. If not, know that engaku be sorry. '"[Aafatul Lisaan, pp.. 161]
It is related, that An-Nakhai said, "Man perishes in fudhuulul Maal (assets in excess of requirements) and fudhuulul kalam." [Jami'ul 'Ulum wal Hikam, chapters 1, pp.. 339]
It is related, that there is someone who meets a pious dream big. Then the learned man was asked about her condition, he replied, "I checked on a first sentence that I utter. That I once said, 'People really need rain!' I asked, 'Do you know, that I (God) is more aware of mashlahat my servants? "[Aafatul Lisaan, pp.. 160-161]
It is related, that a Salaf said, "A believer is menyedikitkan talk and deeds multiply. As for hypocrites, he reproduce menyedikitkan talk and practice. "
It is related, that a Salaf said, "As long as I have not talked to one sentence, then I mastered it. But if I had said it, then the sentence is over. "
It is related, that a Salaf said, "Silence is worship without fatigue, beauty without jewelry, authority without power, you do not need to be grounded for it, and covered with your shame." [See Hashaaidul Alsun, pp.. 175-176]
The conclusion is that we are commanded to speak the good, and the silence of ugliness. If the talk should in accordance with needs. Musta'an Allaah.
