Among the many good deeds done in the month of Ramadan Muslims are giving alms. No doubt that in this noble charity has more distinct values. But keep watch, lest the reward be erased abundant alms in vain.
Dear readers, the Almighty reminds us in his word:
يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تبطلوا صدقاتكم بالمن والأذى كالذي ينفق ماله رئاء الناس ولا يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر فمثله كمثل صفوان عليه تراب فأصابه وابل فتركه صلدا لا يقدرون على شيء مما كسبوا والله لا يهدي القوم الكافرين
"O ye who believe, do not eliminate (reward) alms to mention it and hurt (feelings of the recipient), as people who spend their wealth because of riya to humans, and he does not believe in Allah and the Last Day. So it's like the parable of the slippery rocks on which there is ground and then heavy rains struck the rock, then he takes on a clean (not landed). They do not control nothing of what they have earned, and Allah does not guide the people who disbelieve. "(Al Baqarah: 264)
[Three Pahala Alms Removal Actions]
In the above verse, God identifies three actions that can remove the reward of charity:
First. Mention of giving alms. (المن) al mann: the intention is to mention giving alms before men, who were given alms to demonstrate the advantages himself than the people who were given alms.
Like for example the A to give alms to the B. He always menyebt mention the charity gift in the presence of the B. Such actions are included (المن) al mann the deplorable as mentioned in the paragraph above. This act covers all forms of charity, be it a charity of friends, neighbors, relatives, and wives and children.
Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam also said:
ثلاثة لا يكلمهم الله يوم القيامة, ولا ينظر إليهم, ولا يزكيهم, ولهم عذاب أليم, قال فقرأها رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ثلاث مرار. قال أبو ذر: خابوا وخسروا. من هم يا رسول الله? قال: المسبل والمنان والمنفق سلعته بالحلف الكاذب
"There are three groups, who will not talk to God on Judgement Day, will not see God, and God will not purify, as well as painful for him adzab. Prophet repeated three times. Abu Dharr asked: Who are they O Messenger of Allah? His Word: Al musbil (the man who stuck his ankle beyond his clothes, al mannaan (people who like to mention alms giving), and traders who swear by perjury "(Muslim: 106)
Second. Hurting people who were given alms. (الذي) al adzaa: a language of its meaning is any action adverse or harm another person, both in terms of religion, honor, body, and his property. Adapaun (الذي) al adzaa dole which wipes reward is being arrogant towards people who were given alms and hurt him with a painful sentence, or with something deprecating glory and honor and humbling position of the person.
Third. The act riya '. (الرياء) ar riyaa ': the act of a servant to show charity to man for wanting to get credit. If someone riya 'in practice it will donate alms to remove the reward. Even perbutan riya 'in just a matter tidah alms only. Riya 'could happen to any charity and charity remove the reward. [See Nidaa-Rahman ar li atu Ahlil faith 21-22, Sheikh Abu Bakr Al Jazaairy]
Imam Ibn Kathir identifies: "In His Word (لا تبطلوا صدقاتكم بالمن والأذى) (do not remove (reward) alms to mention it and hurt (feelings of the recipient)) Allah rewards alms explains that it can be lost due mention alms and also with the actions hurt the people who were given alms .. Mention of sin and the harm it causes a loss of reward for alms. Then Allah says (كالذي ينفق ماله رئاء الناس) (), such as people who spend their wealth because of riya to humans). That is, do you cancel a charity rewards you with mentioning charity and hurting people who were given alms, alms as not valuable people who riya 'because humans. People who riya 'is a show before others that he is sincere in charity, but really mean is that he is praised by others. or to be famous for its admirable qualities, so many people who admired him, or charitable order known as the benefactor, or other mundane purposes. Perpetrators riya 'has no concern to obey God, seek His good pleasure and expecting his reward. Therefore, Allah says (ولا يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر) (and he does not believe in Allah and the Last Day). "[See Tafseer al Quran al 'Adzhim letter al-Baqarah verse 264, Al Imam Ibn Kathir]
Watch my brother, the third such actions could damage the reward alms we do.
